Stingrays have a seemingly flat body, but their ability to gracefully curve and bend, to create beautiful forms, which allow them to tread through water is nothing less than fascinating. This was the inspiration for this ceiling light. The entire form of the ceiling light draws its inspiration from the shape of the sting ray, the flamboyant movement of its muscles interpreted as hand beaten texture on the hand molded metal sheet. The sting ray tail has been accommodated to add some drama to the aesthetics and overall form of the design of the stingray lamp. This piece is a part of our ‘Jewels of the sea’ collection.
